Feature Release: Fill Shifts Even Faster With Vocantas’s Latest UKG Pro WFM Integration Enhancements
Friday February 9, 2024
Vocantas is excited to announce its latest Automated Shift Filling release, which offers a more comprehensive integration with UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM). This release offers schedulers a more seamlessly integrated user experience between the two solutions, saving valuable time. We understand how valuable efficiency is – to your schedulers so they can keep your organization fully staffed. That’s why we’re reducing the amount of time it takes for your schedulers to switch between applications and why Vocantas has simplified employee imports. By using UKG Pro WFM APIs to retrieve and send more information, we’re giving your team more time back – while improving their user experience!
Get ready for no-sweat employee data synchronization
Organizations using UKG Pro WFM have a new opportunity to simplify active employee synchronization with the latest release of Automated Shift Filling. Now, you can update your Vocantas list of employees directly from UKG Pro WFM, meaning one less requirement from your organization’s technical resources to manage.
So: you’ve already introduced UKG Pro WFM to your organization, building meaningful hyperfinds to manage employee data. Now, with no extra effort, you can use those same hyperfinds to identify employees to import into Vocantas. Your organization’s resource time is precious – let us do the work and keep your teams focused on your internal infrastructure.
Activating and deactivating employees in Vocantas has never been this easy – but don’t take our word for it. The employee import log will still be available to you with the number of changes imported to validate onboarding, offboarding and employee information updates.
Whether you need to schedule your regular employee imports or pull in your entire list of active and eligible employees, your Vocantas team can configure your employee import in seconds – and your internal resources won’t lift a finger.
Written Comments puts more information at your schedulers’ fingertips within UKG Pro WFM
If you’ve ever looked at an open shift in UKG Pro WFM and wished you knew whether it had been actioned or not, our newest release has you covered. Automated Shift Filling now supports comments and notes writeback to your UKG Pro schedule – so your schedulers can spend more time filling shifts and less time tracking down shift status.
If you aren’t using comments and notes yet, a comment is an optional information tag that can be associated with a shift or pay code in UKG Pro. A note is a free text description associated with a comment. Vocantas now automatically writes a configurable comment on a shift in UKG Pro with an associated note that includes the timestamp and ASF Callout ID. Two conditions for shift comments are supported..
First, you’ll know an open shift has been actioned – a comment will indicate that a shift has been added to Vocantas to be called out. Second, a comment will be written when the shift has been filled. Your schedulers will be able to review, track, and manage shifts in the UKG Pro WFM schedule from the UKG Pro WFM schedule, switching to Vocantas only when ready to add and launch shift callouts.
Schedulers will still be able to review shift status and sort callouts in the Callout grid within the Vocantas application, as well as manually award shifts when and if required. However, by writing comments and notes on the shift itself, your schedulers will have more information with fewer clicks – a win for busy scheduling offices everywhere!
